On Jan.7, 2015, nine party members of CETC spoke from the bottom of the heart, and held another meaningful meeting of democratic life with criticism and self-criticism attitude.

 This meeting of democratic life had its clear subject—study, implement important spirits of the general secretary Xi jinping’s speech deeply, control inner-party life, obey the party discipline and deepen work style construction.  During the meeting, the party group and party members seriously check and find out problems, they also carry out criticism and self-criticism work according to the requirements of “Three Stricts and Three Steadies”, meeting of democratic rectification list, and suggestions taken before this meeting, as well as stipulations of reporting personal issues and “seven have”. The thirty-five supervisor team leaders from central government and the board of supervisors in CETC accredited by State Council come to the meeting.

 This meeting of democratic life was the first meeting after education practice, and it plays very important role in regulating “four winds” and pushing forward the normalization for style of work. The party team of CETC take “strict  insistence upon the political discipline and regulation, implementation of eight rules from central government, firmly resistance of four winds and continuous focus on rectify and reform as focus point”, realize deeply essential characteristics and practical damage of “seven have”, push and solve the infrequent, half-heartedness and non-serious problems in the party, as well as solve problems of some party member like lack of group awareness, slack in group discipline and also the problems of not taking responsibility. Therefore, 《implementation solution for CETC party group member and leader’s meeting of democratic life in 2014》requires that this meeting of democratic life should connect the reality, compare with all the practice requirements under the theme of “strengthen style of work, focus on reform, put forward development” based on serious implementation of the central government’s requirements, and find out problems of leading group and everybody existing in thought, style of work and discipline so as to improve the political nature, principle and militancy during the inner party life.

Preparation before meeting: high standard, strict requirements, keep on improving

Elaboration preparation before meeting is important foundation and guarantee for a high quality meeting of democratic life.  CETC party group lead to study, find out , analysis and improve problems according to the requirements raised by the Central Government that we should have a good meeting of democratic life for the party leader and member in 2014, based on the education practice, and make sure every link goes on well.

Study deeply, pay attention to actual effect. CETC party group take the General Secretary Xi Jinping’s speech spirits of party’s mass line practice summary of the general assembly as important study contents of the meeting of democratic life to study deeply；Consciously integrate thinking and action to the

Central deployment by means of study, personal study and research learning. In addition, we set up three-in-one retreat which combines study and research topics and promote important work so that we realize combination of political theory study and practical work.

　Finding problems and asking for advices.

The members of the Party group have a democratic meeting by way of having seminars, individual talks, sending off feedback form, feedback sheet on the internet and so on to ask for suggestions from many sides in particular the ideas on the corrective recommendations. The copies of 406 feedback including 1247 ideas have been returned and sent to the head of the Party and its members.

To Portray oneself and strict controlling.

The leading Party group of CETC has put forward the specific requirements according the 8th rules from the Central Committee No35 materials inspection supplement notice. Secretary to party group, Fan Youshan chaired several leadership meeting, discussing collectively, drawing up check material, analyzing deeply, controlling strictly. Every Party member bravely revealing their own shorts according to the supplement notices, some revised and improved their materials ensuring the check materials more comprehensive, deeper and target during holidays and journey.

Honest talk, real confront .The Party committee of CETC has worked out a plan on the democratic meeting including talk logbook, talk table view before the democratic meeting, timetable and talk record sheet. The talks were launched between the head of the Party group of CETC and its members, the talks between party members. Party member accepted the talk form cadres and mass actively and talked honestly. The more talks we have, the more common concept we have. Secret secretary and president acknowledged the talk of [arty members and reviewed criticize between leadership members, and asked for checking of all the members to format consensus on higher level.

Revealing problems: Revealing accurately, analyzing deeply, touching the soul.

At the meeting of democratic life, President of CETC, Xiong Qunli checked seriously about the practice of system of democrat, the abide by of Political rules of the Party, organizational discipline, integrity discipline and the carrying on the Eight rules, anti-formalism, bureaucracy, hedonism and extravagance. About Implementation of democratic centralism, some problems were found, such as lack of“the party supervises its own conduct, run the party strictly”, ineffective implementation for the group strategic plan, whole competitiveness and integrating advantage cannot meet the needs of development of army, civilian and international market etc.

　　Sticking to the problems, the leadership conducted deep analysis and reflection, making effort to dig out the root of the problems. The leadership members made checking speech one by one, jointing their own thoughts, growing up processes, jobs and “seven have”, based on the responsibility to the party and leadership. At the round of mutual criticism, the main leaders led to speak out the shortage, seizing reality and key point, and the other members did also. The meeting gained the aim and played active role of communication, helping comrades, promoting solidarity and cheering.

Liu Ziqiang, head of Inspection No.35 Group, said “The meeting of democratic life meets the standards from the National Central Committee. The meeting is fully and positively recognized with two specialties, one is every member did criticize and self-criticize in close relation with their daily jobs, and the other is every member paid much more attention to attitude. From preparation period to the meeting on site, every member took part in the meeting carefully and seriously.

Mr.Liu pointed out that criticizes and self-criticize is the right way to tell wrong and truth, to improve the ability of knowing. After the meeting, the committee will have summary about the Meeting and submit the report about the meeting and will improve accordingly.
