On December 19th and 20th, for thorough implementation of the spirit of central party’s mass organization work meeting, CETC held its 17th Youth League Committee (Expansion) Meeting & 2015 Report Meeting of Secretaries of Youth League Committee from Member Units in Hefei, Anhui. The meeting aimed to systematically summarize the work of CETC Youth League Committee (YLC) throughout the year, to make plan for the focus and direction of YLC work in 2016, and to strengthen work experience communication among YLC of Member Units. Su Jun, CETC YLC Secretary, other members of CETC YLC, as well as YLC Secretary of member units attended the meeting.

During the YLC Expansion Meeting, participants studied the spirits of communiqué of the Fifth Plenary Session of 18th CPCCC, mass organization meeting of central government and CETC, discipline code of party members and punishment regulations etc. YLC work departments reported the work in 2015 and made plans for work in 2016 and discussed together the work plan and focus of CETC YLC in 2016.

Su Jun spoke highly of the work of all departments of YLC during the last year, and put forward specific requirements to work in 2016. She stressed that all departments should do well in the mentoring of new members, and all members should have the sense of responsibility and active thinking from the group level, so as to make best efforts to finish the work.

During the Report Meeting of Secretaries of Youth League Committee of Member Units, Su Jun comprehensively reviewed the work of YLC in 2015 and put forward the work plan in 2016. She stated that the recent central party’s mass organization work meeting was the first time in the history of our party showing the great importance attached to mass organization work by the CPC leaders with Comrade Xi Jinping as the general secretary, and that the spirit of the meeting had great guiding significance to our YLC work in the future.

Su Jun pointed out that CETC YLC sustainably promoted the landing of three brands, and focused on the following work:

• Strengthen cultivation of thought, develop Elite CETC activity, condense the spirits of youth;
• Enhance brand effects, promote the implementation of Intelligence in CETC, lead the youth to make achievement;
• Broaden service channels, launch the model of Love in CETC, fulfill social responsibility;
• Promote construction in pairs, change the examination and evaluation mode, and unleash the power of the youth.

Youth league organizations in all levels kept working hard in key links, unifying the thought of the youth, inspiring youth vitality and creativity, so as to make positive contribution to CETC’s high-quality advance for World Top 500.

Su Jun also emphasized that despite the good results, we should notice the shortcomings of YLC work, especially the gap between us and the standard of “political, advanced, mass” put forward by the central party. She said that in 2016 CETC YLC should hold tight and implement the spirit of central party’s mass organization work meeting, strengthen the focus on the standard of “political, advanced, mass” of YLC and its work, which means to boost the following work:

• Develop brand activity of Elite CETC , condense the spirits of youth, reinforce the ideological foundation of striving with concerted efforts;
• Work with focus, promote the brand building of Intelligence in CETC, serve the reform development of CETC;
• Make use of the brand of Love in CETC, fulfill social responsibility, serve for the healthy growth of the youth;
• Promote organization construction, develop construction in pairs, training of YLC cadres and business communication, etc.

Su Jun required that all the youth league organizations should take the spirit of “Strict”, the attitude of “Steady” and the perseverance of “Step onto the stone and you should leave your footprint on it, clutch a piece of iron and you should leave your handprint on it”, to proactively plan for the focus of YLC work in 2016 and to make more contribution to the development of CETC with sustainable innovation.

At the meeting, YLC leaders from No. 36, No. 14, No. 20, No. 29, No. 28, No. 58, No. 54 Institute and CETC Avionics reported and exchange their advanced work experience from the perspectives of promotion of the landing of three brands, construction in pairs, operation and maintenance of Wechat public platform, etc. Member units carried out group communication and discussion according to cooperation regions.

During the meeting, participants also studied and discussed the spirits of the Fifth Plenary Session of 18th CPCCC and mass organization meeting of central party, along with a visit to No.38 Institute. Through study and communication, participants summarized the results and shortcomings of CETC YLC work, shared work experience, clarified the work focus of the next year, obtained the impetus and direction of moving forward, thus made a solid foundation for comprehensively promoting the implementation of YLC work and enhancing YLC work capacity in the following year.
