Chen Ximing, was born in Tongcheng City, Anhui Province, August 1965. He is Senior Engineer of Researcher Level and Member of Chinese Academy of Engineering.

In December 2012, he was appointed as Chief Engineer of CETC Group, and President of CAEIT (China Academy of Electronics and Information Technology)

In July 2013, he was appointed as Chief Engineer of CETC Group, President and deputy secretary of CAEIT Party.

In December 2013, he was appointed as the member of CETC Party Leadership Group, Chief Engineer of CETC, President and deputy secretary of CAEIT Party.

In December 2017, he was appointed as the vice president and the Member of CETC Party Leadership Group.

In August 2018,he was appointed as the president of CETC,director of the board of CETC and deputy secretary of CETC party leadership group.
